Church School is held every Sunday morning at 8:45. The mission of the Church School is to teach, train, nurture, prepare, and recruit adults and children in God’s word for Christian service, emphasizing those Christian principles which are essential for effective Christian growth and participation. One of the missions of the Church School is the Annual Graduation Program. This program recognizes graduates among our congregation; these are high school, vocational school, college, and post-secondary graduates. The Church School gives each graduate a monetary gift. The Church School sponsors youth to the Church School Convention each year. Other special activities sponsored by the Church School, such as the Community Diversity Luncheon and the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast provide opportunities for members to experience the riches available to us in Christ Jesus. You are invited to come and participate in the Church School at St. James and experience the inspiring discussions and the warm camaraderie of the Church School members. Breakfast is served every Sunday prior to the opening of Church School. If you arrive a little late, you may still enjoy the breakfast!
