Welcome to St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church. Whether you are new to the Bartow area or are just visiting our website, we welcome you. We invite you and your family to join us at our 8:45 a.m. Sunday School, our 10:00 a.m. Sunday Worship Service, and our 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Celebrate Recovery Bible Study. We want to extend our genuine heartfelt love to you, and we are eager to share with you the wonderful ways God is working in our church. You will soon discover that this is truly a family, rich in relationships that matter most, and that as we grow together, we learn, we worship, we serve, we laugh, and we cry as we reach out to reconcile the people to Jesus, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for ministry in the church and in the world through the ministry of restoration and recovery.
